For example Amazon has no shop front but it has very sophisticated warehouses with automated picking. But now it will sell over the web products which its suppliers may hold and despatch direct.

And now it will sell to you all the tools it uses.

Many businesses need to look at their fundamentals. BMW Has done this - BMW does not manufacture BMWs!

And by the way the world is changing - there is more to globalisation than cheap labour.
